Georgia Tech Distance Math Program 2020-2021

Program Description:  The Georgia Tech Distance Math Program allows advanced math students to continue their pursuit of higher-level math classes

following the completion of AP Calculus BC for high school credit.

For Fall 2020, students who have completed AP Calculus BC may apply to take:

​

• Math 1554 : Linear Algebra (Fall 2020)

• Math 2551:  Multivariable Calculus (Spring 2021) 

• ​

Subsequently, students who have completed those courses in our program and are still Cambridge High School students may apply to take:

​

• Math 3012:  Applied Combinatorics (Fall 2020)

• Math 2552:  Differential Equations (Spring 2021)

 

2020-2021 Application Timeline

 

May    

12 – Email Ms. Wilson, Dual Enrollment Liaison (wilsonrm1@fultonschools.org) for required dual enrollment forms (Fulton County Contract and Student Advisement Plan) to be completed by May 18th

 

15 – Georgia Tech Application is available at https://application.gatech.edu/apply/

 

18 – Fulton County Contract and Student Advisement Plan Forms due to

Ms. Wilson (wilsonrm1@fultonschools.org)

 

June

15 - Application deadline – must submit transcript including Spring 2020 grades through www.parchment.com (direction on page 2)

 

July

10 – Self-reported test scores should be received by Georgia Tech

17 – Admissions decisions are released – check your status on your Admissions account

 

August

1 – All Enrollment documents due. Official standardized results from ACT/SAT and AP tests should be received by Georgia Tech. You must request that Georgia Tech receive results when you register for test or immediately after test score release.
